During the breakfast, we also announced our Volunteer of the Year. Congratulations to this year's Volunteer of the Year Kyrie Hobbs! Kyrie has been volunteering at DRFBPE for 15 years! She has been a homeroom mom, helps with the fFall Carnival with whatever needs are there, and has run the Holiday Gift Store with a love and excitement to help our students find gifts for their family and friends. The Gnat Family is so thankful for Kyrie and all she has done for our school!
We are so thankful for the 319 volunteers that serve our students and staff. Those volunteers combined for a total of over 7, 700 hours. The Gnat family is also extremely grateful for the 79 Gnat Financial Partners that make a huge difference for our students. This 20+ year program has proven to be critical in helping make the classrooms come alive and providing incentives for our students. Of those 79 Financial Partners, 10 of them have been committed to donating every year since the beginning. That's pretty amazing!
